Guggenheim Bilbao Museum

Opened in October 1997, the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum is committed to the conservation and exhibition of contemporary art. With its own collection still under development, the Museum’s art programme includes presentations from the Guggenheim Museum Collections, combined with ambitious temporary exhibitions to offer the public a comprehensive and diverse perspective of modern-day art. The bold design of the Museum building by architect Frank Gehry, has become a veritable landmark of the city.
