La Encartada Factory-Museum

Century-old enclave specialising in the production of woollen knitwear since its foundation in 1892 until its closure in 1992. For a decade now the buildings have been restored and these now house the museum that recounts the history of the Basque textile industry. Located in an enormous stone building with spacious stone, wooden and iron sheds that house the original nineteenth-century machinery.
