Gino and Diego Guglielmi, Italians from Verona, “the city of Romeo and Juliet”. Gino and Diego opened their first ice cream shop in Santutxu in 2004, making the best artisanal ice cream with passion, according to Italian tradition, but adding a very Basque-like touch. They are passionate about defending local produce, organic products and all things natural. They work with local suppliers from the region. Over the years, they have expanded the Gelati Gelati team to collaborate with a working farm in Maruri – Jatabe where its handmade ice cream, organic ice cream and chocolate products are made. The company’s goal is to be a leader in traditionally made ice cream and organic ice cream where quality is a key element.
