Souvenirs Bizkaia Bridge

Bizkaia Bridge, the work of architect Alberto de Palacio, is considered a work of art in engineering. It was the first ‘ferry bridge’ in the world and is one of the most outstanding constructions of the European Industrial Revolution and iron architecture. This surprising work that perfectly combines beauty, aesthetics and functionality is located at the mouth of the Nervión River between Portugalete and Getxo and was named a World Heritage Site in 2006 by UNESCO.
